IBM ThinkPad X60s ( for more info https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LaptopTestingTeam/ThinkpadX60s wiki page ) will not resume from either sleep (suspend to ram) or hibernate (suspend to disk).

Sleep: Will not wake up. Button presses have no affect on system. Power button appears to rev up the fan for a few seconds, but system remains off and sleep LED on hardware remains lit.

Hibernate: On resume, status of loading memory pages appears to complete normally. After this point, system freezes/hangs with blank screen (does not respond to network activity either).
