It could be the driver, I have to check it out,
But anyway, I got my laptop to boot everything (except wireless) by blacklisting ipw2200
I have a cable connection which I use most of the time on linux, so it's okay for now, but I'm going to look into it...
Also, did try all possible options (I think) ... I always had that same error..
I think it's pretty weird, because ipw2200 sits on IRQ#11 and when it 'crashes' it blocks all devices on IRQ#10
