Bug Description
After installing the v5.8 kernel, my laptop becomes unusable with multiple issues:
* Trackpad stops working
* External screen connected over USB-C stops working
* Wifi stops working
I collected the apport report to file and then rebooted in v5.4 to send it. On v5.4 this laptop is pretty stable with all three of the above working reliably.
Interestingly, the USB hub itself in the monitor works fine because I can use the keyboard through the monitor. It's only the graphics that stops working. Screen stays off when I plug it in.
I also noticed that the laptop screen runs in a different resolution rather than the one I selected while v5.4 was installed. I run the screen at half-res to match the DPI of my external screen but it booted in full res so everything was tiny.
