lusisto, resuming without borders is a known problem at the moment, using Dave's scripts. You can install the fusion-icon package which will allow you to restart compiz easily. To do this, run: sudo aptitude install fusion-icon in a terminal.
You'll want to make fusion-icon run on startup. To do this, go to System > Preferences > Sessions. Click "Add," and in the command field, type "fusion-icon".
Once fusion-icon is running, after you resume without borders, right click on it and select "Reload Window Manager." Hope this helps.
