Resuming worked fine using the gmane.org scripts after several hours of suspending. I will post here tomorrow morning after > 8 hours of suspending (while I'm sleeping) and let you know what happens.

Attached is the output of "ps faux | tee -a ~/ps_faux" after resuming from today's suspend I mentioned in the previous paragraph.
