This isn't an Nvidia bug, since my backtrace is exactly the same when using compiz or kwin-composite(kde3).
I'm using an ATI Radeon 9600 Mobility with the DRI drivers shipped by default in gutsy. I've recreated the error deliberately a couple of times, and the backtraces are always identical.
The best way to recreate the bug is to run Yakuake, and do something intensive on it, such as running apt-get.
Repeatedly hiding and showing Yakuake is almost sure to cause the crash.
