I have the same bug. I can reproduce it while using yakuake under gnome with compiz loaded.
Its gone as soon as compiz is deactivated or if i dont use yakuake. My Hardware is a HP Compaq 530 with Intel Corporation Mobile 945GME Express graphic adapter. Memtest has found no errors.
