I just tested with Hardy Heron Alpha2 LiveCD. The bug still exists.

On Gutsy it fails while suspending. On Hardy it managed to suspend, but resuming failed - fans turned on, screen got lit, but nothing else worked, had to hard reset it.

Thinkpad T60, Ati X1300 (fglrx 7.11)
