Suspend in Gutsy still hangs with the latest fglrx release, Catalyst 7.12/fglrx 8.44. (Furthermore, it won't display 1650x1080 anymore on my system. Top effort, ATI.)
I wonder if they are working on it, because the suspend problem doesn't even appear on their list of known issues.
