Comment 26 for bug 145112

I have sent off a bug report with a link to this thread to NVidia as I strongly suspect it is a binary driver issue. Hopefully we will get this resolved. At any rate, if anyone in this thread still has the crashing driver installed, what would be of use is to send off a similar mail to them with the output generated from their bug reporting script. The following quote from their site:

"When emailing <email address hidden>, please attach an nvidia-bug-report.log, which is generated by running "nvidia-bug-report.sh". "

That shell script can be found at /usr/bin/nvidia-bug-report.sh

If anyone from Ubuntu's X team knows better, please inform us.
