Tried fglrx 7.12 on a Dell Inspiron 6000 with Mobility X300, 1680x1050 native-res LCD, Ubuntu Gutsy. Stand by and Hibernate finally both work with Gutsy (survived 9 stand by's in a row). Before 7.12, when I tried to suspend, it would stop indefinitely at a black screen. Now it works just fine. Though I'm stuck at 1280x800 max resolution with the new driver.
