yes, I have 768MBytes of ram so I don't think it is really needed. (as the
normal ram usage is about 230MB) I had problems in the past when I only had
512MB, with planescape, the swapd would use up 99% cpu usage (and some disc
usage iirc), so it looks very different than a freeze
