I can confirm this -nasty- bug. It happens in X11 and wayland sessions.

The workaround of changing in /boot/firmware/config.txt:
  dtoverlay=vc4-kms-v3d

To:
  dtoverlay=vc4-fkms-v3d

Solves the problem for me.
