Hello Steve,

this timeout I believe is not a strict limitation. I am not sure if I understand your "or is it not seeing forward progress via output to stdout?" correctly, this timeout is implemented in the autotest framework, if the test didn't finish in time, it will be killed and emit this timeout error.
