2012-04-25 11:05:44 Stephen V. Williams description When installing ubuntu or running the live edition from CD the wireless card reports as "Firmware Missing". During the installation process it will detect the card as a Wireless Network to select (odd). This could cause confusion for in-experienced computer users who won't understand what they are seeing. If you are installing on a laptop your first inclination is to use wireless so this missing feature problematic.
