That's really strange! Did you check if reverting back to previous version solves the issue?
Repeat the commands in my previous post, while replace in all 3 lines "linux-firmware_1.173.17_all.deb" to "linux-firmware_1.173.12_all.deb". Don't forget reboot at the end. Let's see the result.
