I just pushed a firmware that should fix this.
Please try our latest version from https://git.kernel.org/cgit/linux/kernel/git/iwlwifi/linux-firmware.git/plain/iwlwifi-8265-36.ucode

This firmware is not upstream yet. I sent the pull request today.
