Hi all,
I removed the backports now and everything is back to normal:
root@thomas-laptop:/home/thomas# apt-cache policy linux-backports-modules-2.6.27-10-generic linux-backports-modules-2.6.27-8-generic ; modprobe iwl3945 linux-backports-modules-2.6.27-10-generic: Installed: (none) Candidate: 2.6.27-10.8 Version table: 2.6.27-10.8 0 500 http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com intrepid-proposed/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status linux-backports-modules-2.6.27-8-generic: Installed: (none) Candidate: 2.6.27-8.7 Version table: 2.6.27-8.7 0 500 http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com intrepid-proposed/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status root@thomas-laptop:/home/thomas#
Thanks for the feedback pablomme. I am using wireless again, so if you do not need the backports, please remove them.
I will try to debug this further now and get a backtrace, this is still necessary right?
Cheers,
Thomas
