Also affects x86_64. I think the following log line describes the problem:

I also get that error on a fresh install of 5.4.0.42111-2ubuntu1.1, but after downgrading to 5.4.0.42111-2ubuntu1 it starts working again.

For now I have downgraded to 2ubuntu1 and forbidden 2ubuntu1.1
