It would be helpful if the release notes were corrected to reflect that this issue appears to primarily affect 64-bit install (I haven't experienced issues with Thunderbird 3 and Lightning 1 on a 32-bit x86 since release on January 12, 2010). BTW even that issues appeared resolved the next day...
