Is the problem, that xscreensaver (or any other locker application) is not wanted as a dependency? Altrenatively lxlock could exit with an error, if it can't find an available locking method. Please see bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lxsession/+bug/1253046
