Yes, you've got the point: then language line is missing in /var/lib/AccountsService/users/scheuer.

Moreover, /var/log/lightdm/lightdm.log talks of a /var/log/lightdm/x-0-greeter.log, which says that directories /usr/share/lightdm/sessions and /usr/share/lightdm/remote-sessions (this is less important, I don't want to accept remote sessions) are missing.

I attach all that. Thanks, I now only need either the syntax to correct the file /var/lib/AccountsService/users/scheuer, or a way to get AccountsService to do it (should I add a /usr/share/lightdm directory?).
