Bug Description

Binary package hint: light-themes

Completely nit picking. Not sure how to tag this as a paper cut. ;-p

Basically Lucid have changed the default button(exit, mini, maxi) to be on the left hand side. While in the appearance dialog appears on the right hand side. I understand the changing the view based on the users settings might be a bit much but these don't accurately reflect the way they will appear on a standard Lucid install.

See screen shot attached. Also the default light-theme that comes with Lucid looks odd in the preview because the buttons don't line up correctly since they are on opposite sides.

So the simple proposal wold be to change the preview views to be on the right hand side at least for the default theme on a default install.

The theme has no control over the layout there gcc needs to detect this

@Vish
This is not a duplicate of #532822 if you see the screen shot attached you will see that I was suggesting that the icons are on the incorrect side and do no match the theme.

Since Lucid the widget icons were moved to the left hand side when selecting a theme this should reflect this.

Also
I found Bug #555887 and have marked it a duplicate of this one since this one seems to contain more information + screenshot

David Rubin, It is a dup :)

The cause in Bug #532822 is the same as this , both are due to g-c-c not detecting the theme layout.
The theme cannot fix it , it needs fixing in g-c-c , since the main bug is in the right project I have duped it to the main bug.

The reporter just mentioned the background since it "appears" broken.
G-c-c only has a default arrangement menu:min,max,close

Since the order was changed in the light-theme , it appears broken. Fixing in g-c-c alone will fix this bug.
g-c-c will have to look at the
ButtonLayout=
mentioned in the index.theme to display this properly

Vish Thanks for clearing that up.

The original defect seemed to be fixed so wasn't quite sure.
