This is 2012, usability is rated as minor important, seriously?
Seeing that this problem is known since 2007 drives me mad.
In the end these small things decide if a Ui supports you in doing your work, or make it a real pain.
I am glad that I found the work around - but editing some xml- config-file is not an option for most of the users. (why don't fix these themes?)
And don't get me wrong - I like Ubuntu, but it are the little things like this problem which prevent "common" users to use it, and that is really sad!
