Kimchi is currently a neglected package in the MOTU space.
The same applies to "Ginger".
It is severely outdated - the one in the archive is from June 2015 (Wily) and since then got no changes at all.
It had upstream a lot of changes/fixes - in general and for Ubuntu in particular.
The recommendation there is to install a .deb file hosted on their website [1].
I'm not deep enough to do the huge merge onto the new version.
And I don't know what is our/their strategic approach to this - but for now I assigned the initial uploader/maintainer.
Old Maintainer was: Frédéric Bonnard <email address hidden>
Looking at the recent packages provided it now is: Aline Manera <email address hidden>
If they are willing to update ginger/kimchi in artful ok - and on the way fix the libvirt-bin dependency can be fixed.
But if not - and the preferred way is to provide the out-of-archive deb then we should remove it from the archive in artful - as-is it is outdated and broken.
