Apparently, OO.org claims that this is not an issue since OO 3.2 on Linux. They claim that the GO-OO, and later LO builds are introducing this bug.

I can reproduce this bug with BOTH the LO deb of the presenter-console and/or the OpenOffice.org (Oracle) presenter-console extension.
