Using openoffice 3.0.1 build OOO300m14 build 9376 (will update later today)
When I try to open .wb3 files Openoffice starts up (shows the splash screen loading with progress bar), then it crashes and gets killed before doing anything else. If I try opening the document when I already have another document open, it will try to autorecovery the document and autorecovery appears to freeze and I have to manually kill openoffice from system monitor.
I don't think windows version of 3.0.0 crashes (havn't updated it to 3.0.1 yet). But for some weird reason MSO 2003 cannot open the file either. I think when I had corel I had to export the spreadsheet to other formats (mostly .xls back when I used MSO).
Would be nice if OOo could open corel spreadsheets.
If someone has gnumeric installed and it is capable of opening this file I guess I will install that for now.
