I have just updated Ubuntu 17.10 and LibreOffice 6.0.1.1 snap1, Rebooted my PC (even though it did not ask for it. Tested and still do not have access to my media/Acer files, access denied. Works fine in home directory. Also tried a libreoffice spread sheet file (with macros) in my home directory, and it worked fine.
Still having a deny of access to files not in home directory. David
