That's arguable of course. The expectation is that a vast majority of users will have a default setup where they store their documents under $HOME/, and for those the confinement provided by apparmor will be useful and won't get in the way.

This can be discussed, of course, so I'm going to change the status of this bug so the discussion can continue here. Please share compelling arguments here.
