When the software has loaded half(approx) the file it crashes.
Syslog says:
kernel: [ 3400.148827] soffice.bin[5919]: segfault at 34 ip abab14b7 sp bfd6ecc0 error 4 in libooxli.so[ab840000+39c000]

uname: 3.0.0-13-generic-pae #22-Ubuntu SMP Wed Nov 2 15:17:35 UTC 2011 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

Happens all the time with large files. Sometimes small files open correctly.

Same behaviour on an old OpenOffice on Ubuntu 10

Can you attach a test document?

As long as we have neither a test document that shows this and nobody else reports a similar problem I don't think it is a blocker.

Exactly, we need the test document...

[Not reproducible] Works fine with "LibreOffice 3.5.2.2 - Mac OS X 10.5.8 (32bits) Catalan UI"

loaded fine for me on 4.2.6, 4.3 and master. I'm going to call it fixed, but if someone can still reproduce this then definitely reopen and we'll reinvestigate
