gvfs does not support nfs - https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-vfs2/+bug/29263 ( upsteam - https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=479944 ) . I assume, user does not concurrently login from different locations. This should not be seen.
* Verify, if indeed gio fuse option is removed ( see description for workaround ) * Check if this issue is seen, when using with apps like vim/gedit to edit file over smb via gvfs.
