Exactly the same problem here, on ubuntu 12.10 (x64 platform), libreoffice Version 3.6.2.2 (Build ID: 360m1(Build:2))
I know this is related somehow with libgtk, but there are too many bug reports relating to it and I am little lost. Is there a current workaround for it?
I think the importance of this bug should be changed to "major" because, at least for those who are involved, this seriously limits the usability of the software, unless the root of this bug could be tracked down to an existing bug report hence this bug repord should be marked as duplicated.
