Bug Description

Ubuntu Release: Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal beta1
Package version: libreoffice-gtk
Package version: 1:3.6.1~rc2-1ubuntu3
Expected behavior: The unity menu bar should be dynamically displayed/hidden according to the Gtk/ShellShowsMenubar XSetting, only hiding the menu bar if it is set to 1.
Actual behavior: The unity menu bar is always displayed.

LibreOffice is currently unusable for me under Gnome Shell in 12.10. Purging appmenu-gtk* and indicator-appmenu doesn't seem to help...

I'm running Ubuntu 12.10 Beta 2 - todays updates to LibreOffice 3.6.2 have just triggered this bug for me (LibreOffice 3.6.1 worked just fine). This is a problem as I use the GNOME Shell and Cinnamon desktops, not Unity.

I confirm what itsjustarumour is facing. Menu bar is gone under GNOME Shell. I hadn't bumped into this bug until today's upgrade to 3.6.2. I didn't even realize that people were facing this issue in previous versions too. Without the menu bar LibreOffice is unusable.
