Presents here on a upgraded freshly-installed beta2 VM using libnss-ldapd with nslcd for accounts, libpam-ldapd for auth, pam_mkhomedir for user home creation, pam_mount for network share mounts; explicit installations and custom libpam-runtime configs where necessary. This is surely a common enough scenario.
