This may be partially an upstream issue (whatever that means), but it's partially a baobab usability issue.

There is no way to specify that certain directories, i.e., mount points, should be ignored.

It is normal for me to have my company's servers mounted. It's (a) slow (b) way too much network traffic, and (c) irrelevant, as I can't and don't need to muck with the directories on the server.

The problem is that it takes over an hour to scan the nfs-mounted drives.

The easy workaround is for me to specify in baobab that I don't want to look in /proc, /mnt, /media, or other system directories that I won't and shouldn't alter.
