On my system (13 inch MacBook - dual-boot installed w/Boot Camp), this appears to detect the DPI correctly. as being 112 dpi.
However, the resulting fonts, when using my display's native 1280x800 resolution, are huge. I think the issue may not necessarily be the
wrong DPI being detected - it's that the font is a bad size with the right DPI selected! In the meantime, I've reverted to the Feisty settings
(96 dpi, 10 pt font in Gnome), and everything looks normal again.
