Well, I'm also stuck. Laptop is a Dell Vostro V131:

$ lsusb | grep Finger
Bus 002 Device 004: ID 138a:0011 Validity Sensors, Inc. VFS5011 Fingerprint Reader
$ fingerprint-identifier
Found no devices that can identify. Aborting.

Suggestions anyone? Thanks!
