Bug Description

After restarting Apache, a FastCGI Application occasionally hangs in an infinite loop

Reason:
file descriptor is not reset after closing (see attached diff)

The attachment "reset file descriptor after closing" seems to be a patch. If it isn't, please remove the "patch" flag from the attachment, remove the "patch" tag, and if you are a member of the ~ubuntu-reviewers, unsubscribe the team.
