I experienced this in both mplayer and lsdvd (probably vlc as well as it did not play the DVD but I didn't launch vlc from the console so can't confirm) when I played Toy Story. This was a netflix rental so I filed a broken dvd on netflix and they sent me another disc of the same movie. The same errors exact as the post occurred again. I had my laptop home from the office this time so I tried it on the laptop as well with the second copy that netflix sent me and I got the same errors again in both lsdvd and mplayer.
