I can reproduce this in Intrepid too.

NB. This version of Grace was compiled with LessTif.
    Make sure to read the FAQ carefully prior to
    reporting the bug, ESPECIALLY is the problem might
    be related to the graphical interface.

When I go to Help/Comments, i check the FAQ and found this:

Grace crashes with "Oops Got SIGSEV" (on GNU/Linux)

I don't have time to investigate more, but that FAQ seems to have pointers.
