Umm… The good news is they seen to point to the same problem, and on JeffBai's machine that's almost how the config was written (without language matching, etc.). Anyway that works as a good test case...

If bold works, you can assume others work too, I think. If you really want to make sure, you can try out all the possible weight values in https:/ /www.freedeskto p.org/software/ fontconfig/ fontconfig- user.html, shown under <const>.
