I see that getting rid of launchpad integration is problematic.
However, as I have mentioned, it is more than just us who may want to
bypass Launchpad. I will communicate with the Kubuntu team about the
issue that is being disclosed here.

Does it often happen that .desktop files contain plural forms? I should check...
