Bug Description
Binary package hint: kdeutils
I am using Ubuntu 10.04 running the GNOME desktop. I would like to run kwalletmanager. However, when starting kwalletmanager nothing happens. It seems to be running in the background, but no window or system tray icon appears.

Affected too. IMHO it is a serious issue. Until there is a solution or workaround, my kwallet content is effectively gone.
I had kwalletmanager installed and working in Ubuntu 9.10
After upgrade, it stopped working. I used it recently before upgrade making it very likely that it was related to a change caused by 10.04.
Sympthoms are similar as mine. ps aux | grep kwall lists
kwalletmanager
kdeinit4: kwalletd [kdeinit]
But there is no window or tray icon appearing.
Killing kwalletmanager and starting it again from the shell result in this message: Interface: :serviceOwnerCh anged(QString, QString, QString)
Connecting to deprecated signal QDBusConnection
Will try to move my .kde/share/ apps/kwallet/ main.kwl to some other machine if the need to access something becomes urgent.
