DKMS installation of kvm-source is currently broken in some situations. I'm working on this. As such, I'm going to mark this bug as a duplicate of Bug #334177.

Once I get it fixed in Jaunty, you can perhaps request a backport of the fix to Intrepid, if you're still interested in it there.
