Binary package hint: kvm
In Feisty, kvm depends on qemu to create an image, etc but apt-get doesn't install it automatically.

Thank you for reporting this bug, but I'm marking it as rejected: the kvm package does not actually depend on qemu - it is perfectly usable without qemu as long as you already have some VM images.
Furthermore, the kvm package already recommends qemu, which is the strongest non-essential dependency possible:
sudo apt-get -s install kvm
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
The following extra packages will be installed:
bridge-utils
Suggested packages:
debootstrap etherboot
Recommended packages:
kvm-source qemu vde2
The following NEW packages will be installed:
bridge-utils kvm
