In the VarLogDistupgradeApttermlog.gz file we can see this message:
usermod: usuário 'altenir' não existe

It seems that the user you specified is wrong.
Can you please reinstall the package, or run "sudo dpkg-reconfigure kismet" (without the ""), in order to specify the correct user?
