**ERROR: [mplex] Unable to open file ./xx.m2v for reading.

Same problem with Kino in 9.04. Kino will not export video. it locks up and says it's finished exporting but no video file created. Wondering if a fix is being made for this.

Same issue here, using Ubuntu 9.04 x86 and Kino 1.3.0.

On this topic[1], ddennedy says that upgrading Kino to 1.3.3 version fix this problem. I've downloaded and installed this version of Kino from getdeb[2] (there's only a package for Intrepid, but it seems to work) and the problem has gone.

I can confirm this also.

I installed the latest Kino from getdeb.net and then I also installed libavcodec-unstripped-52
