Comment 43 for bug 361843

I have the same problem about slow Kile. When I run it with -graphicssystem raster, it is a lot faster. However, some bugs appear in the window. I actually see the desktop through it instead of the text when I go to another window and back to kile. To get my text again, I have to minimize the window and open it again. Very weird...
It is really annoying since Kile is a very good environment for Latex. I never had any problem with it when I used the Hardy Heron.
