Comment 3 for bug 890899

Installing ppa:kubuntu-ppa/ppa should solve the problem?
Didn't worked to me.
I use KUbuntu 10.04.3 LTS.

Steps tryed:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kubuntu-ppa/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get purgue kgamma
sudo apt-get install kgamma

Log (in Pt-Br):

É preciso baixar 0B/68,3kB de arquivos.
Depois desta operação, 307kB adicionais de espaço em disco serão usados.
debconf: falha ao inicializar frontend: Dialog

Installed, but how invoke it by terminal. Looks like there's something wrong with the debconf after the install of this ppa. See the log.
