I fetched the sources from archive.ubuntu.com this time.
apt-cache showsrc kdissert has:
  12aac7ca2022780a11a9dc1a078aefd4 539220 kdissert_1.0.5.debian.orig.tar.gz

whereas the downloaded file is
 a48f838d1745b35434aa496f6e757bc3 536672 kdissert_1.0.5.debian.orig.tar.gz
